Stop Sweaty Armpits - Can Botox Really Cure Armpit Sweating?

In the quest to stop sweaty armpits some people even go so far as to get Botox injections. Does this actually work? Yes it does, most of the time. However is some risk involved. Lets look at some of the drawbacks to using Botox.

First of all, the injections are going to cost close to $2000.00 all together. If you're a rather wealthy person then this may not be a concern to you but for most people it's a sizable investment to make. Also you'd have to seek out a specialist which may mean you'll have some traveling to do.

Another thing about Botox injections to treat axillary hyperhidrosis is the fact that it's not covered by insurance. So if something goes wrong or it doesn't work then you're screwed. Also it typically only lasts 4 to 12 months before you'll be needing more injections.

So is Botox worth it? Well I guess that would depend on the size of your bank account. If you have money to spare it might be worth a shot. However, if spending $2000.00 once or more a year is a bit pricy, you may want to look elsewhere.
